When it comes to emotional matters and the issues that involve the tingling of the soul, it is safe to leave some larger margin for error. I mean, who knows when or where you would meet that someone that we often refer to as “my spec” lol. I am not talking k-drama infautuation, I’m talking real stuff where values meet and you just know that there might be many fishes in the river but na this fish gan gan I wan chop. Anyways this is no love novel so park well, we want to find a balance between love and the office and in this case they are happening in the same location. Yes I am talking about that young lady’s office you keep going to get confirmation from her manager 24 times a day. Now let us emphatically state that you can genuinely have something amazing with someone at the office but if it is against your office policy, You are on your own o, OYO for you. You know the popular saying that what you are looking for is not in Sokoto, but in your sokoto (the first one is a state in Nigeria and the later is a pair of shorts in Yoruba language). This is a typical example. Don’t go looking for love in your sokoto o! It is not there. My point is, you will most likely find your heart rub within your circle of influence and what more influential circle can you have than a place you go to 9 hours a day 5 days a week. The trick is in understanding that even though you’re loving each other, there are no special rules for dating couples at work. Your primary purpose is still fulfilling your JD, your KPIs don’t reduce because you now have to face some emotional matters within the office too. It is important to note that when your partner does not greet you well at work, it can affect your ability to function and if they don’t apologize for the whole day especially when you can see them talking to someone that you suspect something is going on between them, good luck with meeting your KPIs that day. This goes without saying that people dating at work will need to be mature folks.
