ICS Outsourcing Abuja’s CSR Initiative Supports Community Officers
On Friday 9th of December 2022, In line with the Management directive, the ICS Outsourcing Abuja team with the support of Lifeworth Medicare team and Biopath Laboratories carried out our annual CSR themed Stay Alive, Stay well.
Our program, a medical outreach was targeted at the VIO officials, Road Safety Officials, Nigerian Police Men and the AMAC officials in our community,
However, in the spirit of the season we decided to further encourage these officers in our community with a token of 5KG bag of rice and a 7.5ml of Oil each. A total of 48 officers benefitted from the program which includes the VIO, FRSC, NPF and the AMAC officials.
The event was covered by NTA and was aired on the 5pm National News on Monday 11th , December 2022. It was also aired on these other following stations on Wednesday 14th December, 2022
- NTA Yoruba on Startimes Channel 166 by 6.30pm
- NTA IBO on Startimes Channel 167 by 7pm
- NTA Hausa Startimes Channel 168 by 8pm
We had the following top officials in attendance:
- The DG of DRTS (VIO) represented by the Sector Commander Garki Area 1 FCT.
- The Unit Commander Federal Road Safety Corp Gudu/Galadimawa Unit
- The DTO and Station Officer for the Nigerian Police Force Durumi Police Command.
After the exercise, we went further to encourage the officers on duty at the ever busy Gudu Junction to assist in controlling traffic with our branded reflective jackets.
The impact of this program was greatly felt as the members of the community and also the officers represented have since been commending the gesture and sending their regards to our management for this initiative.
